Provincial Nominee Programs

PNP allows for foreign workers to get permanent residence by committing to live and work in a particular province or territory of Canada. Each province and territory has its own program and eligibility criteria to address their specific labour market needs with regards to immigration.

Paper based process (Non-Express Entry): Have to meet the eligibility requirements of the province, upon receiving nomination has to submit a paper application for PR to IRCC – Nominee can now apply online.

PNP through Express Entry: Provincial nomination adds 600 points to CRS score.

(1) Apply for nomination to province or territory under EE stream & thereafter create or update EE profile with your nomination

(2) Have an Express Entry Profile, receive a Notification of Interest from province or territory, and accept nomination electronically in your EE profile

PNP criteria by province and territory are varies: Must meet the eligibility requirements of the province or territory
